Based on the point where trade, electronic commerce and consumption habits have reached our age, advertisements are of remarkable significance for both advertisers and consumers. In this context, we provide legal services to both our clients who own brands and advertising agencies as well as our clients would like to advertise themselves on advertisements, placements, promotions, collaborations, advertisements to be published in media such as press organs, outdoor venues, and social media. We provide legal opinions within the framework of advertising legislation, in particular the Regulation on Commercial Advertising and Unfair Commercial Practices, decisions of the Advertising Board, principles of the Advertising Self-Regulatory Board, and intellectual property law, especially copyright law. Contract processes are carried out, objection processes regarding the decisions of the Advertising Board are carried out, where a lawsuit is filed, services such as resolving the dispute and applying for judicial remedies regarding broadcast suspension and/or other judicial and administrative fines imposed by the relevant authorities are provided. For our clients who do not act as advertisers but as intermediary service providers, we provide both consultancy and litigation follow-up services in areas such as the control of advertisements given as keywords in search engines (e.g. Google Ads) and the use of brands belonging to online marketplace sellers as advertisements. Besides, services are provided for consumers to cope with deceptive and misleading advertisements, exploitative advertisements, advertisements that jeopardize the safety of life and property and/or endanger public health and to compensate for their damages.
